Yvonne Callaway and Bobi Leutschaft Poitras from the Glengarry Artists' Collective presented the painting to Council.

Craig MacMillan from the Stonehouse Vineyard presented his PowerPoint requesting Support/Advocacy to eliminate the LCBO Mark-up and Wine Levy imposed on the Direct Delivery of 100% Ontario Non-VQA Wine to a Licensee.

    THAT the Council of the Township of North Glengarry receives Staff Report AD-2022-16:

    And THAT Council approves the 2023 Meetings of Council as per the attached schedule;

    And THAT Council approves the proposed changes to the Procedural by-law to amend the start time for Council meetings to 6:00pm, reduction of Committee of the Whole meetings to quarterly, and the addition of a Rural Committee, with a new by-law to be approved at the next meeting of Council;

    And THAT Council authorizes Staff to seek nominations for the lay persons on the Community Development Committee, Arts Culture and Heritage Committee and the Rural Committee.

    THAT the Council of the Township of North Glengarry approves the sale of 90 Main Street, Alexandria, Ontario to The Glengarry Market/Amanda Haley in the amount of $184,000;

    And THAT Council authorizes the Mayor and Clerk to execute the Purchase and Sale Agreement containing the terms and agreements contained in the Request for Proposal and accompanying schedules.

    And THAT Council adopts by-law 41-2022 being a by-law to appoint Fence Viewers;

    And THAT Council adopts by-law 42-2022 being a by-law to appoint Livestock Valuers;

    And THAT by-law 41-2022 and 42-2022 be read a first, second, third time and enacted in Open Council this 28th day of November 2022.

    And THAT Council authorizes the Mayor and Clerk to execute the Purchase and Sale Agreement for the transfer of land.

    That the Council of the Township of North Glengarry supports the United Counties of Stormont Dundas & Glengarry's proposed Official Plan Amendment No. 16 and that zoning amendment application Z-12-2022 be brought to Council at a later date for further consideration and approval, pending County approval of the Official Plan amendment.
